Rent a crab pot and try your luck at catching blue crabs while you paddle. It's a Louisiana thing. Add it during checkout.

The fine print, in plain English

Rentals run 3 hours from your booked start time, with launches beginning at 8:00 AM. Morning slots get the calmest water and the most wildlife.

Renters must be 21 or older to book, know how to swim, and have kayaked at least once before. This is open water shared with boat traffic, and you're paddling without a guide. Life jackets stay on the whole time, and kayakers stay out of the marked boat channels.

Group size tops out at 20 guests per time slot, which makes this an easy pick for a small crew or a family outing. Booking the whole slot for a private group? Email us first.

Weather calls are made same-day. If conditions aren't right to paddle, we'll rebook or refund you. Louisiana summers throw afternoon storms, which is one more reason mornings win.
